   Hoodia (Hoodia Gordonii) "In southern Africa (especially in Namibia, Botswana and South Africa) lives a group of tribes, which comprise the San people known since ancient times as "Bushmen”. The San people is an ancient community, and are considered the first inhabitants of the earth and are known for their ability to survive in hostile environments.
  Since always they have lived by hunting and gathering. However, it is their centuries old use of small fragments of Hoodia gordonii to suppress appetite when making long hunting trips in the Kalahari Desert that has stimulated the most interest.
